You can walk from
Parliament Square in the centre of London right out to the western
edges of town in the parks which join up to form a massive green
lung in the fashionable district of Kensington. London's other
green lung is north of Baker Street in Regent's Park. You can
rollerblade in designated areas (only) of Hyde Park and Kensington
Gardens, and riding along 'Rotton Row' is the height of equestrian
fashion (or was, in the days before cars or rollerblades) - see
our 'Activities page for wheeled or hoofed parklife. Speakers'
corner in Hyde park (Marble Arch tube) is popular on Sunday
mornings. For a guide to the parks see our 'Walks' section. Tube:
Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch, Queensway, South Kensington,
Kensington High Street.
